What you’ll do:

As the Head of People Operations, you will play an integral role in enabling the organization’s global growth. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the scalable, innovative, efficient and inclusive global People Operations strategies. Your efforts will contribute to the achievement of the business strategy, while providing best-in-class employee experience. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy building and refining processes, mentoring and coaching your team, and supporting leaders. 

  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team: recruit, train, and coach a global team of People Operations professionals. 

  • Compensation & Benefits: Develop a future-proof global total rewards strategy, implement and refine related processes, including salary benchmarking and grading, salary review, promotions, retention programs, job evaluation; and competence framework implementation.   

  • Administration & Compliance: Oversee all aspects of People Operations in each of the countries (including employee administration, preparation of payroll inputs, health & safety at work, and fire protection), ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. 

  • HR Information System: Implement a robust HR information system that streamlines People Operations processes, resulting in increased efficiency and data accuracy. 

  • Reporting: Build an efficient reporting system and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the People Operations team and across the organization.  

  • On-boarding & Off-boarding: Implement and drive innovative, efficient, and inclusive on-boarding and off-boarding processes in collaboration with the Talent Development Team. 

  • Organizational Design & Effectiveness: Support the development of an optimal global organizational structure and coach leaders on organizational effectiveness to increase productivity and drive business performance. 

  • Employee Experience: Maintain effective mechanisms for employee listening (e.g. Employee Engagement Survey) to uphold Devtech culture and continuously improve the employee experience.  

  • Managers’ Support: Provide guidance and support to leaders in addressing performance issues, building performance improvement plans, and potential corrective actions.  

What you’ll need: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial role, with focus on compensation, benefits and HR administration. 

  • Ability to identify initiatives with significant strategic impact, while maintaining a hands-on approach. 

  • Efficient stakeholder management, exhibiting strong integrity and problem-solving attitude to support business needs.  

  • Enthusiasm for process improvement and automatization initiatives. 

  • Excellent communication skills – capability to effectively, clearly, and concisely articulate ideas. 

  • Strong analytical skills with focus on interpretation of HR data, and generation of actionable insights. 

  • Experience in project and change management. 

  • Experience in HRIS usage, bonus points for experience in HRIS implementation. 

  • Thorough understanding of Serbian Labor law. 

  • Advanced excel skills. 

  • Fluent in the English language.
