Requisition Summary

The responsibilities of this role include the delivery of high quality, timely, and accurate administrative and transactional support for the administration of Health and Welfare programs. This position will report to the HR Operations Manager with strong collaboration with the Health and Welfare team.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Administer the COBRA program, including mailing of initial notices, tracking elections and payments.
Develop employee communications to highlight our benefit offerings.
Support annual Form 5500 filing and create and distribute Summary Annual Reports.
Manage Health and Welfare programs including monthly billing and QMCSO administration.
Assist with the Corporate Wellness Fair and other wellness activities.
Administer the Retiree Medical plan, including tracking elections and payments.
Support leave of absence record-keeping and reporting.
Administer other Benefit, Compensation and HR programs as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills
1+ years of HR, Benefits or related role.
Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules and benefit procedures.
Thorough knowledge of and experience with MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with internal controls and regulatory compliance is preferred.
Education
Bachelors in business administration, Human Resources, or related field.
CEBS, CBP, PHR preferred
