Description

We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, and tax reporting. This role is situated in the heart of the construction and real estate industry and is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to apply their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage financial reporting activities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements

• Prepare and manage budgets and financial forecasts

• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies in financial data

• Ensure accurate tax reporting in compliance with regulatory standards

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, and other accounting software for financial tasks

• Prepare and record journal entries as part of the month-end close process

• Apply your experience in the construction and real estate industry in handling industry-specific financial tasks

• Balance sheets reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of transactions and records.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 + up to 10% bonus.

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Proficient in General Ledger management

• Ability to manage Journal Entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite

• Knowledgeable in Oracle

• Familiarity with SAP

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Experience in the Construction Industry

• Experience in the Real Estate Industry

• Proficiency in Financial Reporting

• Ability to perform Budgeting and Forecasting

• Skilled in Variance Analysis

• Experience in Tax Reporting
