We're seeking an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to drive innovation through advanced analytics and machine learning, while providing technical leadership to our data science team. Job Overview As Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the application of machine learning techniques and statistical methods to solve complex business challenges. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on creating tangible business value through data-driven insights and innovations. You'll work at the intersection of retail transformation and advanced analytics, helping shape the future of customer experience. Technical Leadership Lead the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from problem framing to deployment Extract, prepare, and model large, complex datasets using advanced ML techniques Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms Guide the development and deployment of production-ready models Establish best practices for data science methodologies and workflows Business Impact & Analytics Transform complex data into actionable insights and recommendations Deliver timely, high-quality analysis that enables intelligent business decisions Create and implement metrics to measure model performance and business impact Identify opportunities for applying ML solutions to business challenges Drive innovation in retail analytics and customer experience optimization Team Leadership & Collaboration Provide technical mentorship and guidance to data science team members Review projects, models, and code for peers and junior team members Collaborate with engineering teams on ML pipeline implementation Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences Innovation & Development Drive the adoption of cutting-edge ML techniques and tools Lead research initiatives to explore new methodologies and applications Contribute to the development of scalable, production-grade ML systems Influence technical strategy and roadmap planning Champion data-driven decision making across the organization Education: Bachelor's Degree Quantitative Discipline (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering, etc.) (Required) Master's/Advanced Degree Quantitative Discipline (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering) (Preferred) Work Experience: 4-7 years Industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis in an ML engineer or data scientist role building and deploying ML models or hands on experience developing deep learning models (Required) 4-7 years Experience with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) (Required) 2-4 years Experience with big data architecture and pipeline, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, etc. (Required) 4-7 years Experience articulating and translating business questions and using statistical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data (Required) 4-7 years Experience in data visualization (Required) 4-7 years Experience working with relational database us
