Job Title: 2nd Shift - Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Assemblers. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly of ammunition for the military. This position requires good hand-eye coordination as you will work with extremely small parts on an automated assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP instructions to perform various job responsibilities.

• Hand assembly of small piece parts on an automated assembly line.

• Assemble using fixtures and/or automated equipment.

• Rotate stations to prevent repetitive work fatigue.

• Operate machines and pack products as needed.

• Learn and adapt to multiple departments.

Essential Skills

• Good hand-eye coordination.

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30lbs.

• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly.

• Ability to read and work from blueprints.

• Experience in machine operation, picking, packing, and working on a production line.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.

• Consistency in attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment

The work hours for the 2nd shift are from 4pm to 2am, Monday to Thursday, with a $1.50 shift premium. Any overtime is typically on Fridays from 11am to 4pm. You will enjoy scheduled breaks at 6pm (10 min), 9pm (20 min), and 12am (10 min). The facility is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
