Environmental Engineer Manager

Job Description

Seeking a seasoned Environmental Engineer to lead projects, mentor junior engineers and technicians, and manage client interactions, focusing on Phase 1 and Phase 2 assessments. The role involves significant work on soil and groundwater projects, air permitting, and soil sampling to determine contamination levels. This position requires a dynamic individual capable of both office and field work, with projects primarily located in Northern IL and Southern WI. Responsibilities also include overseeing permitting processes, indoor air quality assessments, exposure assessments, and managing contaminated waste for roadway projects.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Beloit, Wisconsin and some days remote.

Work Environment

The role includes 60% office work and 40% fieldwork, depending on the project phase and requirements. The projects are mostly located in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
