About the Job:

This position is an Associate Director Cyber Security, responsible for the SPI Data Protection program in the Data Protection Assurance organization within Cyber Security Organization.

Experience Level: 12 years

Location: Hyderabad or Bengaluru

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing a team of 20+ employees in in AT&T India for the SPI Data Protection program in the CSO Data Protection Assurance organization.

Interviews and selects employees, maintains proper staffing levels, allocates resources, supervises teams daily operations, productivity, identifies areas for improvement, develops action plans to improve performance, develops teams technical and managerial expertise through on-the-job and formal training opportunities, enforces Company policies, takes necessary disciplinary action, evaluates individual performance for annual performance review, merit increases, promotions and other employment status changes

Management and support of team of data discovery architects and scan engineers who will interact with the AT&T Domestic SPI Discovery employees and AT&T Application teams across the enterprise who own AT&T Applications and Databases to be onboarded on to these programs respectively.

Will work with onshore leaders to discuss staffing and resource issues and strategies.

Supports innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management related tasks associated with the SPI Data Discovery Program.

Acts as main contact with Domestic AT&T SPI Data Discovery program leadership team.

Primary / Mandatory skills:

Overall – 12+ years of IT experience

8+ years of experience in Application and Platform Architecture.

5+ years of technical team management experience.

Deep understanding in Application Database architecture.

General information security knowledge (CISSP, Security First Bronze, Silver and/or Gold)

Basic Cloud security knowledge for Azure and AWS.

Demonstrate Analytical Thinking,

Ability to asses and articulate risks from a business standpoint.

Understanding of Business Process Modeling.

Track record of staying current with trends, techniques, tools, and processes that drive improvement of security posture of applications.

Finance and Accounting Financial Forecasting and Modeling

Deep understanding of IT Environment and Governance

Proven ability to manage Processes and projects.

Team-oriented thinking with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team

Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle

BS of Computer Science and/or Information Systems

Technical Skills: SDLC, Database Administration understanding, Information Lifecycle, Database management tools etc.,

Additional information (if any): Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours.

Certification : CSSLP, CISSP or equivalent
