This position is based in Bangalore and will require on-site work.

Purpose and Scope:

As a chapter lead of a team of individuals in a specific area of digital expertise, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution are about aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, focus on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.

A Systems Engineer focuses on the development, deployment, and integration of software platforms that support our business processes and operations. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the specific platforms and systems that drive business functions of our affiliates. The goal is to ensure these systems/ platforms are optimized to support business requirements of our affiliates that are not supported by our Enterprise Platforms (Country specific Legal, Regulatory, Statutory requirements and our unique/niche areas).

You will be at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in your field.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Platform Development and Configuration: Design, develop, and configure business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization. This could involve programming, configuring settings, and integrating various software solutions.

  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration between different business platforms and systems (e.g., integrating CRM and ERP systems) to enhance data flow and business processes.

  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly monitor the performance of business platforms, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience.

  • User Support and Training: Provide technical support to platform users, resolve issues, and conduct training sessions to ensure users can effectively utilize the platforms.

  • Initiative Execution: Actively participate in and contribute to various initiatives, applying your specialized skills to achieve the objectives and expected Value. Contribute to the ongoing realization of Value from these enterprise platforms through continuous integration and deployment.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units.

  • Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in a specific area of expertise.

  • Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and digital capabilities.

  • Reporting: Regularly report on the progress of the various Value Teams and outcomes to your Capability Lead and team members.

  • Problem-Solving: Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome project challenges and deliver effective solutions.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered.

  • Ability to provide timely, clear and precise notes/status reports and file audit tasks/documentation in GRC, Veeva Vault and other relevant portals to meet compliance and regulatory requirement

  • Ability to face audit and provide support and advice for any audit query, providing evidences and other artifacts to satisfy audit JSox & GxP queries.

  • Conduct Change Review Board (CRB) meetings to evaluate, approve, and document changes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate with business and functional teams to align SAP solutions with organizational objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science15+ years of experience in SAP technical roles, with at least 6-8 years in a leadership position

  • Demonstrated experience in SAP S4/HANA and associated SAP systems and Platforms DevOPS management

  • Business Process Understanding: Knowledge of Finance, HR, Supply chain & Procurement

  • Significant experience in overall management of the SAP Eco-system

  • S4/HANA and other SAP Cloud solutions (SuccessFactor, Ariba, IBP, Concur)

  • Implement SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions, including SAP

  • Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, e.g., Java, C++, Python, R, SQL is highly beneficial.

  • Agile and adaptable to changing environments and project scopes.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to facilitate Change Review Board (CRB) meetings effectively

  • Proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP development methodologies

  • Knowledge of SAP security and compliance best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science

  • Demonstrated experience in SAP S4/HANA and associated SAP systems and

  • Platforms DevOPS management

  • Business Process Understanding: Knowledge of Finance, HR, Supply chain & Procurement

  • Significant experience in overall management of the SAP Eco-system

  • S4/HANA and other SAP Cloud solutions (success factor, Ariba, IBP, Concur)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, e.g., Java, C++, Python, R, SQL is highly beneficial.

  • Agile and adaptable to changing environments and project scopes.

  • Proactively study annual releases and support upgrades deliverables

  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements affecting SAP platform and other JSOX relevant SAP systems

  • SAP Certifications in ABAP for HANA, SAP BTP, or SAP Integration Suite

  • Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices

  • Develop and manage OData services, REST APIs, and SOAP web services for integration with SAP and third-party applications
