Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own technical design of key areas of the product.

  • Take Accountability to deliver features within schedule and in good quality

  • Collaborate with other product and services teams.

  • Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues that may dent team’s ability to execute.

  • identify operational gaps and design solution to mitigate it. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 5+ years of experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems.

  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, C/C++, GoLang(Must have), and experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals..

  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

  • Linux system knowledge and Operations knowledge.

  • Experience with operational support on Cloud would be a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff you will own the software design and development

for major components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure. You should be both a rock solid coder and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and low level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
