*DUTIES: *Organizing and executing construction site logistics and planning. Create and maintain budget forecasts throughout the project duration. Assist with management of construction of commercial, healthcare, and education facilities. Create purchase orders to vendors. Receive and organize all vendor and subcontractor quotes and compare to obtain pricing information for various project requirements. Manage exterior envelope scopes for commercial construction projects using PlanGrid, MS Teams and MS Office. Review contract documents, drawings, and project specifications. Create and manage schedules to ensure all projects operate according to contractual obligations using MS Project. Manage the material procurement and buyout process to provide hand-offs to field staff using OnScreen Takeoff. Create construction project budgets and managing on a weekly basis using Deltek ComputerEase. Assess, forecast, and manage the budget of construction project assignments. Develop and mentor assistant project managers throughout the lifecycle of a construction project. Manage panel systems including aluminum composite panels and single skin corrugated panels. Coordinate with other trades and companies who will be working in conjunction with our proposed scope. Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Assistant Project Managers (APM) who will assist with various tasks for the project. Responsible for project controls, Pre-Construction, Construction and Construction Close-out. Act as a liaison between contract and management teams regarding project scope and construction contracts. Provide direction, supervision, and control of administrative, operation and maintenance personnel, subcontractors and/or other related services. Manage outside suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers who have obligations to the project. Provide accurate cost forecasts, oversee project submittals and schedules, maintain records of conversation with customers, respond to emails in a timely manner, review purchase orders from suppliers and attend weekly project meetings for various on-going projects.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field. Must also have the following experience: 5 years of experience managing exterior envelope scopes for commercial construction projects using PlanGrid, MS Teams and MS Office; Reviewing contract documents, drawings, and project specifications; and Managing the material procurement and buyout process to provide hand-offs to field staff using OnScreen Takeoff. 4 years of experience creating and managing schedules to ensure all projects operate according to contractual obligations using MS Project. 3 years of experience creating construction project budgets and managing on a weekly basis using Deltek ComputerEase. 2 years of experience assessing, forecasting, and managing the budget of construction project assignments. 1 year of experience developing and mentoring assistant project managers throughout the lifecycle of a construction project; and Managing panel systems including aluminum composite panels and single skin corrugated panels. Up to 20% domestic travel within 60-mile radius annually. Remote work permitted up to 2-3 days per month.
