Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Network Engineer in the Financial Services industry. Based in BENSALEM, Pennsylvania, this role involves leading the implementation and deployment of new technologies and locations, performing proactive maintenance of the network system, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitoring network performance, providing recommendations for improvement, upgrades, and expansion.

• Leading the network system life cycle efforts, including the implementation and deployment of new equipment and locations.

• Conducting audits and maintenance of branch locations and secondary data centers as needed.

• Ensuring compliance with security standards through the regular review, audit, and remediation of network devices.

• Maintaining and updating network equipment with software patches and firmware updates to ensure reliability, performance, and up-to-date security.

• Documenting and updating diagrams for all network devices and services.

• Supporting other teams within the organization in their day-to-day tasks.

• Analyzing and diagnosing reported network problems, documenting root causes, providing recommendations for remediation, and performing corrective actions.

• Collaborating with third parties and vendors for problem escalation and resolution.

• Maintaining and updating network systems as needed with software and firmware updates.

• Assisting with vulnerability remediations and performing security hardening of network security systems.

• Developing a working knowledge of the business side of the organization and effectively interfacing with all user groups.

• Ensuring the timely completion of daily tasks, short-term, and long-term projects. Requirements • Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is expected.

• Familiarity with Checkpoint is required.

• Experience with Cisco ASA is a must.

• Ability to handle Cisco Routers is necessary.

• Expertise in Cisco Technologies is essential.

• Knowledge of AB Testing is desirable.

• Competency in Backup Technologies is required.

• Understanding of Computer Hardware is expected.

• Proficiency in Configuration Management is necessary.
