Salary Range : $60,000 to $80,000 USD per year

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will join ATR's Engineering Services Division, working as a team member at our government client site to support various R&D and engineering tasks related to materials development at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. Duties include, but not limited to:
Evaluation of material properties and characteristics for maritime application
Perform physical testing of variety of polymer materials products
Collect test data and maintain database
Support shipboard installation and testing
Prepare and review documentations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Tech or vocational school or equivalent
2-3 years of related job experience is desired
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge in material evaluation process
Ability to support industrial laboratory and hardware
Ability to maintain and upkeep test equipment
Ability to travel and work in shipyard environment
Experienced with MS Office skills
Strong proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation. Current successful background investigation completion is a plus.
