Lehigh University is seeking an exceptional individual to join our Auxiliary Services team as an Associate Director of Housing Services (Exempt Staff Full-time position, S89730). This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment, shaping the residential experience for our diverse student community.

 

In this pivotal role, you will assist in the development and implementation of the departments mission and vision, providing strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of undergraduate and graduate housing operations. As a member of the central management team, you will play a critical role in promoting the Office of Housing Services to internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships across the university. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and mentoring both exempt and non-exempt staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth. Collaborating with the Director of Housing Services in developing, monitoring, and reporting on budgets within the residential system. Serving as a liaison to various offices and partners across Lehighs campus, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Promoting the Office of Housing Services and its initiatives to internal and external customers, enhancing its visibility and reputation. The ideal candidate will possess a Masters degree and five to eight years of related work experience in housing or student affairs administration, demonstrating a commitment to student success and a deep understanding of residential life dynamics. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a proven track record of effective staff management and budget oversight.

 

This position is a Grade: 10 - 40, offering an approximate salary of $65,290-$79,430. The duties of this position may allow the employee to work partially remote as deemed appropriate by their supervisor. This position works with minors.
