We are offering an exciting opportunity in the service industry and looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to join a growing team! ONE MUST HAVE professional linux administration! In this role, you will be tasked with managing and implementing Linux distributions, supporting Apache, TomCat and MySQL, and handling network configurations (to name a few). Responsibilities include (NOT ALL IS REQUIRED):

• Administration and implementation of current/common Linux distributions, specifically CentOS and RedHat

• Utilizing SSH, Port Mapping, and other tools for user administration

• Providing support for Apache, TomCat, and MySQL

• Handling the configuration of DNS servers, DHCP, firewall software, and VPNs

• Administering Cisco or Juniper router configurations

• Ensuring the use of security and compliance best practices, such as certificates and PCI

• Leveraging Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, and Backup Technologies for effective system administration

• Administering Firewall and performing Basic Network Troubleshooting

• Utilizing SUSE Linux for system administration tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or similar role

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies

• Strong knowledge of Cloud Technologies

• Proficiency in Centos Linux

• Solid understanding of Linux System Administration

• Skilled in Firewall administration

• Basic Network Troubleshooting abilities

• Experience with SUSE Linux is a plus
