Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives
Full time 40 hours
Salary Range : $65,000 to $75,000
The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives works collaboratively with ACHIEVE’s Chief Executive Officer and other key stakeholders to identify and plan for key strategic initiatives that align with ACHIEVE’s long-term goals. The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives will facilitate the Agency’s strategic planning process, monitoring, and reporting progress throughout the year. The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives’ duties also include, but are not limited to, the following items:
I. JOB KNOWLEDGE
· Facilitate the Agency’s strategic planning process, including analyzing market trends, identifying potential business opportunities,
and generating recommendations to drive growth and success
· Assist agency leadership in the identification and planning for key strategic initiatives that positively impact access to and quality
of programs, supports and services
· Identify and support planning for key strategic initiatives that create program growth and inform resource allocation
· Track progress on strategic initiatives, identifying potential risks, and make adjustments as needed
· Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Executive Management Team on key business decisions
· Participate in community engagement, governmental affairs, and advocacy activities in an effort to advance and enable strategic
priorities
· Any additional duties as assigned
Requirements
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities and effective time management/organizational skills
Must possess excellent leadership and team management skills
Able to work scheduled hours that may include overtime, weekend and/or holiday timeframes and maintain an acceptable work attendance as defined in the agency’s personnel policy manual and handbook.
Must have a demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures
Must have outstanding project management skills
Demonstrate sound judgment in normal work and emergency situations
Must physically be able to lift 25 pounds
Possess a valid driver’s license record that meets the agency’s insurance carrier guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA or BS required, and a minimum of 3-5 years experience Strategic Thinking and Planning expertise desired, or
-Or- A combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the above standards of the program
