Job Description

:

Equipment operators will perform a variety of tasks, including operating designated equipment on construction sites:

Operating equipment: Drive, maneuver, and use equipment such as backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, and dump trucks or semis within the job site.

Coordinating with crew: Use hand or audio signals to coordinate machine actions with crew members.

Equipment operators may also perform manual labor, such as digging and lifting.

Equipment operators should speak basic English. Should also be able to:

Lift up to 50 pounds

Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time

Work in all weather conditions

Climb on and off equipment and work at heights

Equipment operators may be exposed to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.

On the job training.

**Job Requirements : Ability to lift 35 lbs, employment reference.

**Work hours and days : Approximately 48 hrs/wk, 7am - 7pm, Mon - Thurs, some Fri/Sat required. Hours and workdays may vary depending on weather.

**Benefits : Health insurance is offered at a shared cost after 60 days. Employer will pay 30% of the cost.

**Pay rate : $33.21/hr; $49.82/hr OT

**Pay frequency : Weekly

**Housing provisions : Will assist in locating housing.

Single workweek used as standard for computing wages due. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker, at the employers sole discretion, based on work performance, skill, or tenure.

Workdays may begin/end earlier or later on any given day depending on season demands or weather conditions. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on need.

Employer will make all deductions required by law. Other deductions may be taken at employee's written request, i.e., internet, cable, cash advances, medical expenses, etc.

Employer will reimburse H2B workers in the first workweek all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government.

Tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties provided at no charge.
