What is the job about?

As a Senior Product Development Application Engineer, you will be a part of a Drives scrum development team, with the responsibility for product application requirements, and you will work closely with our test and verification team.

You will also work closely with product management, Customer service units (CSUs), and application experts to convert customer requirements to detailed software specifications test requirements.

You’ll be instrumental in spreading our optimistic, can-do attitude to advance global innovation and a clear sense of purpose and making a difference in global projects.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Bring pump application understanding into the specification for new products; in particular for the software functionality.

  • Contribute to requirements writing, integration, and verification strategy deployment combining sub-pump components (drive, motor, pump etc.).

  • Ensure embedded software functionality works as intended in the application and is easy to use.

  • Enable products such as apps and connectivity components into a whole system.

  • Take ownership of verification activities including documentation.

Your background:

You have a solid pump application understanding and will bring this knowledge as input to product feature specifications, in particular with respect to new pump software functionality, and hands-on verification that those specifications are met.

You would like to work with a mix of specification, planning, and practical, hands-on work with our products.

We imagine that you have:

  • Engineering or technical education

  • Proven experience with variable speed drives and pumps

  • Understanding of product software in the context of Drives

  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience

  • Understanding of Agile principles

  • Fluency in English

What’s in it for you?

Whether it’s developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path. You’ll be welcomed from day one into an inclusive, trusting environment guided by our six core values (https://www.grundfos.com/about-us/our-purpose-and-values) .

In addition, your day-to-day benefits include:

  • On top of it, flexible working hours and up to 3 days’ additional paid leave for volunteering of your choice

  • Annual bonuses, health insurance, parental support, internal well-being consultants and programmes

  • Access to the modern Grundfos Academy to pursue further both personal and professional development

  • Diverse, inclusive environment with employee-led forums offering colleagues a safe place to connect and share openly
