Job Description

We are seeking experienced welders with pulse welding experience, although candidates with MIG/TIG experience and the aptitude for pulse welding are also encouraged to apply. We have openings for both 1st and 2nd shifts. Welders love it here because everyday is a little bit different!

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and pulse welding techniques.

• Read and interpret blueprints to execute welding projects accurately.

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.

• Grind and finish welds to ensure quality standards are met.

• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of welding experience.

• At least 6 months of blueprint reading experience.

• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with pulse welding is preferred.

• Ability to weld stainless steel and use wire feed techniques.

Work Environment

The work environment is a combination of inside and outside work in a non-climate-controlled agricultural setting. Steel toe boots and jeans are required, but short sleeves are allowed. The available shifts are:

1st shift: Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (or four 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift with mandatory 8 hours overtime each Friday); optional overtime each Saturday from 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

2nd shift: Monday – Thursday: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (four 12-hour shifts with the 8 hours overtime included in Thursday’s shift); optional overtime each Saturday from 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blair, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
