Example of Duties:
Conducts configuration modifications, develops code to add functionality to new or existing systems, assist with design and development of Division website, and work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure functional software applications including factoring in a strong understanding of technical architecture, designs, and performs analyses to resolve complex project issue; may lead design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and designs, and offering and incorporating ideas; designs projects with broad implications, requiring system integration of technical platforms. Some positions may have on-going leadership or formal supervisory responsibility for a small IT team.
Minimum Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of data architecture, software architecture, common software design patterns, development and testing practices; programming languages and software development tool suites. Experience creating, interpreting and documenting user requirements; analyzing development solutions to show costs and benefits; coding, testing and deploying production systems; establishing and defining architecture and development standards.
