Legislative Services Office - Audit DivisionSENIOR SUPERVISING AUDITOR

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise financial and compliance audits of State agencies following AICPA’s generally accepted auditing standards, the U.S. GAO’s Government Auditing Standards, and other federal auditing requirements.

  • Supervise accountability reviews of State agency programs and procedures to support the Legislature’s oversight function in State government.

  • Occasionally travel out of town to conduct audits.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with24 completed semester hours of accounting courses.

  • Certified Public Accountantlicense in Idaho, or with the ability to get reciprocity from another state license.

  • Strong interest in public service and improving State government.

  • Strong analytical, research, critical thinking, time management, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.

  • Experience supervising professional staff.
