Description

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an established and expanding company in Bonita Springs that is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team. The Staff Accountant role involves providing support to our department by processing, recording, updating, and reconciling fiscal information, updating journal entries, and assisting with month-end reports.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing month-end closing entries.

• Processing vendor invoices, balance sheet reconciliations, and updating financial reports.

• Managing recurring transactions and resolving invoice discrepancies.

• Provision of supporting documentation and/or information on internal process required for audit.

• Preparing journal entries, creating/updating Excel spreadsheets, and communicating findings to management.

• Assist in reconciling accounts payable transactions.

• Assist with audits and the budgeting process.

• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Controller.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge and understanding of the General Ledger

• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential

• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
