Tufts Medicine Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist - Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA in Boston, Massachusetts
Tufts Medical Center’s Physician Organization, the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and the Department of Behavioral Pediatrics are seeking a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist .
The anticipated schedule will include 10% administrative time and 90% clinical time.
How you’ll transform patient care:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with patients specifically on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) in partnership with the Center for Children with Special Needs, expanding access to quality care for this population.
This role includes responsibility for building the Division of Behavioral Pediatrics and Child and Adolescent Fellowship programs with Tufts University School of Medicine.
Additionally, there is opportunity to establish an “ASD across lifespan” clinic to treat this often-underserved population.
You will conduct psychiatric evaluations of patients with a diverse range of mental illnesses and developmental disorders, prescribe medication and provide longitudinal care
You will have the opportunity to perform patient care cross-functionally with other disciplines to elevate their level of treatment
As a member of the core faculty, you will participate in the supervision and teaching of residents in your area of clinical expertise and interests
You will have the ability and flexibility to grow your career in particular areas of interests
Who You Are:
Possess an MD, or equivalent, and eligible to obtain a medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Board certified or board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
You enjoy teaching and supporting the development of colleagues
You are passionate about caring child and adolescent aged patients
You enjoy working with a system of collaborative, compassionate, and impact driven providers
Compensation:
Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. Appointment to the Tufts University School of Medicine faculty based on experience and accomplishments with opportunity to teach medical students
