Robert Half Treasury Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are in the search for a Treasury Specialist to join our team in the banking industry located in Boston, Massachusetts. The Treasury Specialist will play a crucial role in managing relationships with banks and administering the treasury function. This role involves managing bank wiring instructions, approving daily cash movements, and banking administration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the treasury activities, including the team associated with the treasury function.

• Oversee the initiation and approval of ACH transfers and wires on behalf of office entities and clients.

• Manage banking relationships to ensure optimal offerings and support, and assess new providers/platforms when necessary.

• Help with the opening of cash and brokerage accounts, including account applications, KYC requests, and related documentation.

• Update wire instructions including performing call back verifications and updating internal tracking files.

• Monitor account balances across multiple platforms to ensure account holders are meeting operating cash needs and addressing FDIC limits.

• Support the Accounting & Reporting Analyst and Fund Accountants with daily/monthly review of cash transactions in the accounting and reporting software.

• Assist in the preparation and review of investor capital call and distribution memos.

• Oversee annual report filings for various entities.

• Assist in managing lines of credit including paydowns, expenses, and related documentation.

• Aid in the preparation of legal and regulatory documentation for various entities and investments, and other ad hoc requests.

• Adhere to practice controls policy and assist external auditor with controls testing. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Treasury Specialist role or similar within the Banking industry.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a required skill.

• Familiarity with Banking software is necessary.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with BlackLine are mandatory.

• Experience with Concur is a desirable skill.

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions effectively is required.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.

• Auditing skills are necessary for this role.

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) is important.

• A deep understanding of Banking Operation is required.
