Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Associate Client Development Managerin Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory. Preferred location is Boulder, CO. or Louisville, KY.

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $65,000 - $98,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What will you do? Support Senior Client Development Managers (CDMs) with business development activities, including but not limited to prospect identification/engagement, proposal design, project management and miscellaneous administrative activities Identify prospects that match the profile of Schneider Electric's Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory solutions Work as a true hunter, with a proven ability to generate and follow up on leads by contacting prospects and creating interest in Schneider's offerings Liaise with other teams (Marketing operations, Events, Salesforce Administrators, Business Development Coordinators) in order to improve processes, organize activities, and ensure transparent reporting and goal track Work with internal Schneider stakeholders to uncover cleantech opportunities within the existing client base Communicate and interact with business decision-makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements as well as market opportunities Handoff qualified prospects to appropriate Senior CDM but stay engaged through the sales cycle Support logistics for in-person conferences and events, including analyzing attendee lists and scheduling meetings, Open an agreed-upon number of opportunities per year Provide support in developing standardized and bespoke RFP responses Maintain prospect (CRM) database information Build business expertise and sales acumen with anticipation for rapid advancement to a full sales role in a growing business - become a corporate sustainability expert through training and development activities

Qualifications: College degree in Business, Engineering, Sustainability or similar degree program Work related experience in energy, sustainability, ESG strategy, reporting and communication is highly valued - you understand the macro corporate sustainability and renewable energy trends Experience in client facing activities like sales, client management, customer service or similar Hard work ethic and adaptable in high growth environments. Proven track record of being successful in all elements of a consultative sales role including; lead generation, pipeline reporting, account prioritization, persistence in follow up of leads and movement of prospects through the sales cycle. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Computer literate in a Microsoft Office environment (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) and with CRM systems (particularly Salesforce) and Linked-In Some travel may be required to support sales activity (approximately 10%)
