Boyertown Area Multi-Service Food Pantry Coordinator in Boyertown, Pennsylvania

Summary of Duties: The Food Pantry Coordinator is responsible for ordering, receiving, documenting, maintaining, packing, and distributing food to recipients of the food pantry. The Food Pantry Coordinator is also responsible for organizing, attending, and/or ensuring adequate coverage/attendance at community donation events throughout the year along with documenting and tracking operational reporting. This position requires an ability to manage time, priorities, be adaptable, productive, and consistent in the workload while working well with agency staff, volunteers, and the public.

 

This position requires adequate computer skills in relation to Microsoft Office, Google docs, and data entry. Throughout the day, the Food Pantry Coordinator balances administrative tasks with hands-on-service, ensuring the pantry runs smoothly and clients receive the support they need. It's a role that requires strong organizational skills, empathy, and the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
