As a Front Desk Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience by managing the front desk efficiently and providing excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, managing patient records, handling inquiries, and coordinating with medical staff. Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical administration is a plus.

  • Previous experience in a medical office or similar setting preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical office software (e.g., EMR/EHR systems).

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients with a warm and professional demeanor.

  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of office hours.

  • Answer and direct phone calls, providing information or directing inquiries to the appropriate department.

  • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, including updating and verifying patient information.

  • Process insurance information and handle billing inquiries.

  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.

  • Assist with other duties as needed to support the office team.
