You'll receive ongoing support through high-quality supervision, specialized trainings from our Continuing Education team, and an education benefit.POSITION OVERVIEW: The Assistant Residence Manager responsible for the supervision and guidance of all Direct Support staff (case assistants), ensuring that proper coverage is maintained and that appropriate training is provided. As an integral part of the clinical team, the Assistance Residence Manager will ensure that all necessary therapeutic interventions determined by the clinical team are carried out, ensure the safe operation of the facility, and assist in maximizing the functioning of disable adults in order prevent hospitalizations.KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Directly supervise and provide supervision for all Direct Support Professionals (DSP).Ensure appropriate coverage for shifts.Prepare weekly staff schedules and ensure facility is adequately staff on all shifts.Track Staff Attendance and uphold agency policy and procedures regarding time and attendance.Weekly group or one to one supervision with direct reports.Attend weekly supervision with Program DirectorProvide training to Milieu staff as needed.Provide crisis intervention services as neededPlan with administrative staff, the objectives and scope of the departmentMonitors InventoryEnsures that monthly Fire Drills are completed and documentedSupervises apartment/facility inspections to ensure that all safety and sanitary conditions are maintained.Ensure that the residents understand the rules and regulations of the facility in which they are housed. Monitors and ensures that security is maintained within the facility.Monitors the daily log to ensure complianceParticipates in regular staff meetings and trainingCompletes regular and timely documentation of all client interactions, including informational notes; completes incident reports as appropriate.Other duties as assigned.Team ProcessParticipates in regular staff meetings and trainings.
