Nilfisk, Inc. Credit Analyst in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

MAJOR FUNCTION Duties include managing the collection of past due accounts, credit investigation, credit review and exposure of credit risks. Working with customers on deductions and timing of payments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate past due accounts and determine the necessary collection action Send customer statements, agings and reminders for collections purposes Work in customer portals as necessary for invoice submission, payment, and deduction information Review account balances to be recommended for collection and write off Maintenance on customer accounts including clearing deductions, invoices, and following up on open items Submit requests to customer service for customer disputes Hourly monitoring of orders that are on credit hold Review large customer purchase orders for accuracy Perform credit investigation on potential new accounts and existing customers Miscellaneous job duties as assigned Assists in month end close, generate reports, analysis and provide feedback MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED EXPERIENCE: 3 years of accounts receivable/credit and collections experience KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Working knowledge of standard credit and collection policies, procedures, and regulations Excellent attention to detail and organization Work independently with minimal supervision using effective time management Ability to meet deadlines despite regular interruptions Ability to effectively communicate at all levels; customers, co-workers, and management COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in use of MS Excel, Word Ability to comfortably navigate the internet for freight carrier sites and customer portals Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports Ability to utilize ERP system, such as SAP Salesforce.com experience a plus Let's create a cleaner future together Clean is changing.Today, cleaning is a key contributor to health and safety, and a new clean is emerging, driven by technology and innovation.
