As a Weld Shop Assistant, your key responsibilities will be to provide day-to-day support to the Fabrication Shop. This includes, assisting with ordering and parts inventory of the shop, preforming saw cuts, operating a brake and/or sheer machine, and other duties as assigned.

    What it takes:

  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Forklift experience (desired)

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds with assistance.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or touch, and stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl, reach above shoulders and occasionally use foot/feet to operate machine and climb or balance.

  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
