Data Analytics & Visualization Specialist

for our team in Budapest.

The role:

This position is predominantly supporting the Global Procurement Team. The incumbent will be responsible to design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure that supports efficient data processing & analysis used to support the Global Procurement Team’s strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Combine and apply functional knowledge, technical ability, and understanding of business requirements to create effective data visualization and dashboard outputs spanning the broad portfolio of Procurement and Source to Pay processes.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations and reports through testing and validation.

  • Collaborate with IT to design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files) to automate the input data ingestion of data visualization reports.

  • Support the design, development, and enablement of automated reports and scorecard publication and distribution (e.g. NPrinting).

  • Cross-functional collaboration with data analysts, project manager, and business stakeholders to understand specific reporting and analytical view requirements.

  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.

  • Compose and maintain the documentation of the end-to-end process of data and reporting products for future reference.

  • Provide necessary training and support to the end-users of applicable data products.

  • Establish standard operating procedures and make recommendations to enhance the end-to-end data value chain.

  • Proactively identify areas of improvement on existing reporting and data assembly processes or establish and test new hypothesis.

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.

Requirements:

  • University Graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as QlikView, Tableau, Power BI, or similar, and other data analytics tool (for example Python, Macros, R, SQL).

  • Attention to design beauty and use convenience (UX). Applying design principles such as colors, typography, information hierarchy, and so on, build easy-to-understand visualizations.

  • Familiarity with Big Data processing frameworks such as spark

  • Strong communication, able to communicate data issues to non-technical customers within the business, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Abstract intelligence to be able to structure models, logic analysis and data management.

  • Prior experience and knowledge about data engineering including cloud services (e.g. Databricks, Azure), and data pipeline tools is a plus.

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.

  • Good stakeholder management skills (e.g. facilitating discussions, storyboarding, and presentation), with an ability to foster a team relationship with co-workers and all agency disciplines.
