Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team! If you are passionate about welding, fabrication, and providing quality service, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, using your expertise to ensure the success of our operations. Here’s what you can expect:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all customer and company policies, work, and safety protocols

  • Perform welding on various pipe types, including HDPE, PVC, CPVC, and threaded pipe

  • Interpret P&ID, flow schematics, and fabrication drawings to ensure high standards for quality and installation

  • Complete mechanical assembly tasks, such as mounting equipment, instrumentation, and tank internals

  • Utilize tools such as torches, cutting equipment, track burners, band saws, and lathe machines for fabrication and welding tasks

  • Paint and prepare surfaces as required, including set-up, clean-up, and surface preparation

  • Assist with shop maintenance tasks, such as equipment repair, clean-up, and participation in health and safety inspections

  • Perform confined space entry and be capable of wearing a respirator

  • Maintain your own hand tools and tool box for daily tasks

  • Provide on-site and off-site installation and start-up services

  • Travel for out-of-town service calls as needed

  • Demonstrate excellent multi-tasking skills to maintain optimal shop efficiency

  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to receive instructions and coordinate tasks

  • Arrive on time and prepared to work

  • Perform additional tasks as requested

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, fused, glued, and stainless steel pipe welding

  • Experience in fabrication, blueprint reading, and fitting

  • Comfortable lifting, carrying, and performing physical tasks, including occasional overhead work and carrying heavy loads (up to 50+ pounds)

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to use measuring instruments and apply basic math skills

  • Ability to operate a forklift

  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, and balancing

  • Good hearing acuity for machine monitoring and visual acuity for reading prints, gauges, and inspection instruments

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

  • Trade School certificate (preferred, but not required)

  • Previous experience in a welding or fabrication role (Intermediate Level)

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
