Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machines and performing manual tasks to ensure parts meet quality requirements. This role involves working with key components of an engine, including OGV and Combustion parts, and requires hands-on experience in fabrication and machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate parts manually and using machines to ensure parts meet quality requirements.

• Perform manual deburring per pre-planned instructions.

• Operate airflow machines per pre-planned instructions.

• Operate heat treat furnace per pre-planned instructions.

• Perform assembly tasks per pre-planned instructions.

• Operate cutting machines to pre-planned instructions.

• Operate press machines per pre-planned instructions.

• Maintain equipment per preventive maintenance requirements to ensure reliable machine operation.

Essential Skills

• Experience with cutting machines, production, machine operation, assembly, and saw operation.

• Ability to work independently and take on new challenges.

• Effective communication and interaction skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities within area of expertise.

• Competence in reading and understanding work instructions.

• Mathematical and reading skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.

• Ability to learn and use multiple business system software.

Work Environment

This is a first-shift position with potential to move to a permanent role after six months. The work involves operating various machines including presses, heat furnaces, and airflow machines. Training will be provided on the first shift. The work environment emphasizes safety and quality, with a focus on maintaining reliable machine operations. Dress code is standard industrial attire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, North Carolina.

Pay: $17-19/hr

Shift: 1st and 2nd shift openings

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
