Aerotek is Hiring a Production Assembler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Production Assembler to join our team in manufacturing medical devices. This role involves working on a fast-paced assembly line and occasionally in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in similar production environments and be comfortable with detailed assembly tasks using small hand tools.

Pay

• $21.71/hour

Shift

• 3:30PM-12PM

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to complete production orders on an assembly line.

• Rotate through 13 stations, with full training taking approximately 2-3 months.

• Follow written English instructions to assemble units using small hand tools.

• Work both independently and alongside team members at various stations.

• Maintain a fast pace to ensure the continuous flow of the production line.

• Occasionally work in a cleanroom environment, standing for the entire shift while labeling, sealing packaging pouches, and performing other tasks.

Essential Skills

• Valid visa for at least 2 years from the date of hire.

• 1 year of recent experience in a similar environment performing assembly/production tasks.

• 1 year of recent experience in a fast-paced production role.

• Comfortable working a 1-year contract.

• Proficiency with small hand tools (e.g., crimpers, screwdrivers, tweezers).

• Ability to work with small pieces and parts during assembly.

• Capability to stand for entire shifts and lift up to 30 lbs (non-repetitively).

• Basic computer skills.

• Good English communication skills, both verbal and reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications.

• Soldering experience.

• Experience with PCB assembly in a highly regulated environment.

• Ability to read instructions for soldering and match numbers to wires for soldering tasks.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and diverse, with a culture that values pride in product building, hard work, and inclusivity. The dress code is casual; however, cosmetics, jewelry, and certain personal care products are not permitted in the cleanroom. The production floor is staffed by about 60 people, and the standard shift is Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

The pay range for this position is $21.71 - $21.71/hr.
