Newfane Middle School is seeking two (2) dedicated and dynamic educators to teach 5th-grade math and 6th-grade science for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidates will implement the Eureka Squared math program in 5th grade and the Amplify Science program in 6th grade while embracing and modeling the Panther Principles—our core values that align with the middle school philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math and science lessons aligned with New York State learning standards.

• Implement the Eureka Math Squared curriculum for 5th-grade math, ensuring conceptual understanding and skill development.

• Implement the Amplify Science program for 6th-grade science, fostering inquiry-based learning and hands-on investigations.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

• Create a supportive and structured classroom environment that encourages student engagement and curiosity.

• Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to enhance student achievement and well-being.

• Integrate technology and innovative instructional strategies into lessons to support student learning.

• Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community.
