We are currently looking for an authority inside sales engineer you will be primarily responsible to maintain and develop customer loyalty through high levels of service to expand and strengthen the relationship. The Inside Sales Engineer identifies, offers, and sells the best solution for the customer’s application; provides commercial and technical support; always striving to provide the highest standards of customer service in accordance with the Problem Solver principle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prequalify customer requests for quotation to ensure that a quote will meet the customers’ application and operational needs and explore opportunities for additional products or services.

  • Prepare and send customer quotations that are on time, technically accurate, commercially verified, and offer the best all-around solution.

  • Commit to On-Time Delivery of quotes submission.

  • Drive 1-1-X (One day to quote, one day to load and deliver as per customer request date) to exceed customers’ expectations (meet and exceed Gold Standards)

  • Answer customer questions, both technical and commercial.

  • Maintain accurate and complete records in CRM, OCM, Oracle, and other tools as required.

  • Provide product- and application information to external- and internal customers related to the quotes in progress.

  • Connect with manufacturing locations for queries regarding lead-time, specials, etc.

  • Attend meetings with customers and/or field sales and sales meetings when needed.

  • Ensure that all technical information communicated is complete, accurate, and timely.

  • Support Order Execution to ensure that purchase orders are commercially and technically clean and accurate, and to resolve any technical-related issues that occur during the order cycle.

  • Pro-active management of personal quote backlog in accordance with the agreed procedures.

  • Get involved in process improvements, including identifying issues, bottlenecks, etc., and suggesting possible solutions in a timely manner.

  • Conduct Due Diligence, Legal and Commercial compliance approval process in collaboration with the Checkpoint Champion

  • Attend relevant technical and commercial training as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products as and when released.

  • Enforce to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics policy, with respect to all business activities.

  • Enforce to Emerson’s commitment to Environment, Health & Safety as a core business value.

  • Other responsibilities as required.

For this job you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably Electronics or Instrumentation.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an inside sales role

  • Interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Worked in CRM software.

  • Previously worked on Oracle software

  • SMART Goal setting skills
