THE ROLE

The HR Coordinator will be analytical, empathetic and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, a strong understanding of compliance and administrative responsibilities, fundamental working experience in HRIS and the ability to balance the needs of employees with the demands of the business. This role is responsible for supporting Marketing and Club Operations client groups, auditing and updating their data in ADP to ensure high levels of data accuracy. This role provides an opportunity to support critical HR functions and improve data management practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes and systems, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication and analytical skills with a passion for data integrity.

The HR Coordinator must present an enthusiastic view at growing and developing their craft. This position is under a separate partner company that supports Insomniac Clubs Division. This position is required to report to either the Glendale, Woodland Hills and Calabasas offices on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurate data entry, file organization and record keeping of HR documents, data cleanup

  • Timely responses to employee inquiries with accurate resolutions

  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process, perform background checks

  • Coordinate & schedule meetings

  • Coordinate the maintenance of office spaces to create a comfortable and safe working environment

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations, ensuring all HR processes, procedures and employee files are in compliance

  • Engage with client groups to understand and address their needs, conducting check-ins as needed provide tailored support

  • Provide support with EDD requests

  • Assist with Benefits enrollment

  • Support ad hoc audits on position and employee data in ADP, identifying discrepancies and presenting findings for review

  • Assist client groups with updating ADP - troubleshooting and making corrections as required

  • Assist with bi-weekly processing of payroll this will include auditing data, running reports, and preparing data for payroll processing

  • Perform mass data uploads in ADP using Excel templates, ensuring accurate and timely processing,

  • Coordinate with client groups to ensure task completion within deadlines as needed

  • Process salary adjustments, title changes, offer letters and other documentation

  • Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency

  • Prioritize the well-being and needs of our employees while ensuring alignment with the business objectives

  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture by assisting in organizing social events, team-building activities, and celebrations

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, additional projects assigned as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years experience in Human Resources or Administration

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Proven experience in HR administration, preferably in a hospitality or entertainment industry

  • Proficient in HRIS, experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to empathize and build rapport with employees

  • Outstanding work ethics

  • Proficiency in data entry, file management

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Experience with Airtable is a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be willing to travel to work and travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events

  • Might require occasional travel to the various clubs

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments when on site at event and office locations

Hiring Hourly: $21.00 - $26.00 USD
