Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world. Enhanced by state-of-the-art lighting, pyrotechnics and sound design, large-scale art installations, theatrical performers and next generation special effects, our events captivate the senses and inspire a unique level of fan interaction. Insomniac produces 10,000 concerts, club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe. Since its inception, Insomniac's events have taken place in 13 countries across five continents. The company's premiere annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the world’s largest dance music festival and attracts more than 525,000 fans over three days. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.

THE ROLE

Insomniac Events is looking for an experienced Jr. Recruiter that will be responsible for sourcing and full-cycle recruitment efforts. This is not a fully remote position and required in office on a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week. This position reports into the Senior Manager, Human Resources and Recruiter.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively source, screen, interview and recommend candidates for open roles and effectively share talent

  • Schedule interviews, coordinate with candidates, and prepare necessary interview materials

  • Educate candidates about Insomniac’s mission, vision and values, while exciting them about what we do

  • Own and juggle high volume requisitions and balance moving swiftly with an optimal candidate experience

  • Partner and communicate effectively with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessments, and preparedness during the interview process

  • Partner with recruiting team on specific requisitions and develop effective engagement strategies for pipelines of passive talent

  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research

  • Research and recommend various sourcing techniques, including online research, networking, social media, and other creative methods

  • Ensure a smooth recruiting process by using communication skills to manage expectations and provide process updates

  • Participate in various recruitment and community events

  • Recruit, train and onboard members on the team both directly and partnering teams

  • Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed

  • Some travel may be required (economy)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in entertainment, agency, or tech setting

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience working with Microsoft Suite, Workday HRIS and various ATS

  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal business partners

  • Possess a wide range of experience on current corporate recruiting policies, practices, and industry trends

  • Experience in behavioral based interviewing, pre-employment testing and other innovative selection methods

  • Aptitude of assessing intangible aspects of candidates accurately

  • Strong knowledge of basic recruitment laws, guidelines and best practices

  • Experience solving problems and delivering significant impact as an individual contributor

  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments in various work locations

  • May work in drastic temperature climates on site at our events

  • Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

Hiring Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 USD
