Hiring Pipefitters

Join our clients assembly team where you will be tasked with installing pipe spools, performing 'bolt up', threaded, and socket welding of 1/2" - 2" pipe for modular gas process equipment. You will be working on gas compression skid packages and modular units, conducting hydro testing, bolt ups, and fitting pipe. Additional responsibilities include reading and interpreting P&IDs and engineered drawings.

Hard Skills

• 3rd, 4th or Journeyman level pipefitter

• Experience with compression/gas processing units

• Assembly in shop environment

• Socket welding

• Threaded piping

• Screw pipe experience

• Bolt up experience

• Ability to work with 1/2" - 2" pipe

• Ability to read drawings and P&IDs

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s) with the intention get hired on full time.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Calgary, Alberta.

The shift is a night shift from 5 pm - 3 am, Monday-Thursday with mandatory overtime. OT available after 40 hours in a week.

Work Environment

The work environment is a loud fabrication setting working on gas compression skids and modular units. Although the team of pipefitters is close to 50, you will be assigned a unit and will be working closely with about 3-7 people depending on the size of the unit. Depending on experience wage will range, Journeyman rate in $51.15/hr.
