IAP Worldwide Services, Inc Sr Human Resources Specialist in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

Position is contingent upon contract award.

As the Sr Human Resources Specialist, you will oversea and implement straightforward HR/Management studies. This role will design and conduct surveys and facilitate large and small meetings as well as conducts data analysis and makes policy recommendations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Plans and analyzes HR programs and projects. Completes best practices comparisons and subject matter interviews and integrates the findings. Uses management software and other vehicles to convey results.

· Analyzes HR policies. Develops organizational goals; identifies and compares alternative programmatic approaches to achieve goals; develops analytical models for long-range planning; assesses cost effectiveness; performs cost benefit analyses. Uses management software to convey best practices and policy recommendations.

· Evaluates HR program effectiveness. Determines objective measurement methods and performance indicators; develops evaluation instruments; develops strategies for implementation of analytical findings; analyzes program performance and operational results; examines implications of policy, legislative, or programmatic initiatives; and prepares reports.

· Collect and provide information to the Brigade S-1 Office for personnel in the Brigade.

· Collect and provide information to the higher headquarters S-1/G1 Offices, as required.

· Responsible for submission, tracking and reconciliation of all Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) reports.

· Responsible for the Daily Status Report (DSR) on the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR) for Soldiers, Contractors, and Civilians. Monitor and scrub the report for accuracy and submit it to the COR within a timely manner.

  • Monitor the Deployed Theater Accountability Software (DTAS) and be responsible for the timely and efficient mechanism for tracking and providing visibility of deployed soldiers, contractors employees, and Department of the Army Civilians (DAC).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent (10+ years’ experience)

· 5+ years related experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

· Department of the Army (DA) HR personnel systems

· PERSTEMPO regulations and tracking

· Proper Military Awards process

· Records Management systems to include ARIMS. IPPS-A transaction submission, error correction and understand numerous reports

· DTAS “three (3) tiered” architecture: the Enterprise Database; the Theater Database; and the Mobile System

· Proper marking, handling, and safeguarding of CUI (includes PII).

· Privacy Act (PA) and procedures for proper release of personal information.

· Word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Adobe PDF)

· Proper Evaluation process

· Proper personnel actions request process

· Strength Management

· Proper Management of leave, pass, and financial actions.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment : Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.

Travel: May be required to travel to and from the subordinate unit’s higher headquarters’ location(s) as mission dictates.

Security Clearance: Active Secret required
