Veterinary Custodial and Maintenance Support

We are growing, expanding many of our service offerings, and looking for experienced Custodians / Maintenance to support our team of exceptional veterinary professionals in our newly renovated Campbell hospital.

About the job:

Responsible for managing the Cleaning of the facility.

Examples of daily tasks: Sweeping, mopping, bathroom maintenance, removing hospital trash and other tasks as needed for maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital.

Maintenance Oversight: Performing routine maintenance on custodial equipment restocking of cleaning supplies and making minor repairs such as unclogging pipes, replacing light fixtures, assessing facility concerns and coordinating requests with Vendor support as needed.

Compensation range: $23 - $27 hourly

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm 

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, cleaning materials, janitorial tools, and equipment.

• Knowledge of routine building and grounds maintenance.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Online ordering platforms (Such as Staples, Amazon, etc)

• Ability to operate, care and maintain tools and equipment used in janitorial work.

• Ability to complete minor facility repairs.

• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

• Ability to use and operate a computer

• Must be able to lift heavy items

• Must be comfortable in a veterinary medicine setting with various loud noises and smells.
