Schedule: Per Diem Days.

Responsibilities:

• The RD is considered an expert source of reliable nutrition info. for inpatients, outpatients, physicians and other staff.

• The primary role of the RD is to conduct patient nutritional screenings for purpose of identifying nutrition concerns.

• These concerns may be related to malnutrition, tube feeding, TPN, special diets and physical ailments related to disease.

• During patients interviews the RD performs an assessment of diet and education needs and then gives a recommendation to the physician for needed care.

Qualifications:

• Registry Eligible Dietitian required, Registered Dietitian preferred. CD-N preferrerd.

• BS in an accredited Dietetics/Nutrition Management program required.

• Successful completion of a clinical internship required.

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting as a Dietitian or Diet Technician preferred.

Pay Range: $28.00 - $35.00

Starting Pay: Based on Experience
