The Role:

This position will be a key contributor in the development of a Shared Services Model (the “Model”) for hotels consistent with our Global Shared Services Strategy. The Director of Shared Services will participate in the entire process – beginning with the planning phase through to project acceptance. Once the Shared Services Model is established, this position will be involved with the ongoing operations of the Model. This position will report to the AVP of Shared Services & Transformation for Cancun.

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for implementing Shared Services, aligning with organizational goals and existing Shared Services operations.

  • Design and execute pilot program to test Shared Services solutions, assessing feasibility, scalability, and effectiveness.Collect feedback from pilot participants and stakeholders to refine processes, address concerns, and optimize Shared Services delivery.

  • Lead change management efforts to facilitate the transition to Shared Services, including communication, training, and support for impacted employees.

  • Oversee the deployment of Shared Services resources, technology platforms, and infrastructure to support enterprise-wide adoption.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and service level agreements (SLAs) throughout the Shared Services lifecycle.Monitor and evaluate the performance of Shared Services operations, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and optimization.

  • Provide oversight and direction for Hyatt’s hotel Shared Service center operations in Cancun.Support team and ensure they are engaged in ongoing learning and development. Act as a champion for Shared Services within the organization, promoting awareness, alignment, and ongoing commitment to shared services principles and practices.

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of finance/accounting experience

  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English

Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant field Any professional certifications

  • Experience in a multi-national corporation preferred

  • Prior experience leading hotel finance operations a strong plus
