DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be responsible for conducting skilled maintenance and repair work on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, tractors, construction equipment, and powered hand tools. This includes performing tasks such as oil changes, mechanical diagnostics, tune-ups, tire changes, engine repairs, cooling system adjustments, electrical work, and brake system repairs. You will conduct official state safety and emissions inspections on vehicles within their license class, ensuring that all repairs are in compliance with regulations. Completes necessary paperwork, road tests vehicles, and affixes inspection stickers as required by state guidelines. This position works on diesel equipment, performing tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, water pump replacements, and repairs on electrical, cooling, suspension, and driveline systems. Also responsible for making field adjustments to equipment to ensure safe operation and minimize wear.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of experience in the automotive mechanic trade; or completion of an approved apprenticeship; or Any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities. Special Requirements:

This position will require possession of a current and valid Pennsylvania Class C driver's license. This position will require possession of a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Class 1 Certified Inspection Mechanic.
