Job Description
The Senior Project Manager (PM) will provide end to end project management leadership (concept to completion) on the LSG Project Management Team, being fully responsible for the mechanisms which ensure successful delivery. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional projects with diverse internal teams to meet business objectives and metrics. In this role, the PM will partner with Project Sponsors to drive the execution of critical Supply Chain and Life Sciences initiatives that span across LSG and its divisions and business units. The successful PM will set-up and govern the overall schedule, communicate decision needs, control the budget, and report the progress of phases and major achievements.
What will you do?
Be accountable for the success of the project, ensuring execution of timelines and continuous organizational change to deliver timely results
Ensure that all projects are delivered within scope and budget
Facilitate Steering Committee meetings with executives and develop briefings for executive action
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant cross-functional teams and ensure resource availability and allocation
Identify key issues and risks, recommend options which are supported by a clear fact set and analysis, facilitate and broker individual and team decisions. Requires an understanding of team member motivations, impacts to the organization, and when to highlight issues to higher levels of management
Leverage practical process improvement tools and techniques in all phases of project to add value to the sponsor and business on the service provided
Develop detailed project plans to measure progress and celebrate achievements
Lead project execution to ensure Project Management standards are deployed
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare reports for leadership
Experience with challenging the current thought process of staff and current state of business processes
Influence project team members & project sponsor
How will you get here?
Bachelor's Degree in Science/Technical/Business subject area or equivalent work experience
6+ years of project management and team leadership experience in Life Sciences or Supply Chain with solid track record in leading projects from start to finish
Experience leading intricate projects spanning short to medium duration (3+ months)
Ability to present to varied audiences including senior leadership and work efficiently in a matrix environment
Ability to lead 2+ projects and partner with team members across different departments and domestic time zones
Solid understanding of formal project management methodologies
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
Experience with Lean / Six Sigma in an industrial environment is beneficial
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to collaborate with peers at similar levels of the organization and report project status to Sponsors and team members
Ability to translate strategy into action and own results
Proficient and conversant in project management practices and methodologies including PMI Body of Knowledge
Effective oral and written communication and executive presentation skills
Process oriented and structured working style and capable of balancing multiple projects simultaneously
Well organized with the ability to deliver work to the highest standard
Productive and collaborative contributor who can build strong professional relationships
Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, applying a focused approach to critical thought

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00 - $154,700.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
