Nick Corieri from Robert Half's Syracuse exciting opportunity for a Controller. This role is pivotal within our team, where you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budget processes, and payroll. You will also be tasked with maintaining the accuracy of accounts payable and receivable, as well as utilizing accounting software systems for efficient operation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

• Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

• Implement and monitor budget processes.

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient operation and reporting.

• Handle financial forecasting to assist in strategic planning.

• Ensure the accuracy of customer credit records.

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and detail-oriented manner.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior level accounting role

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrated experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Solid understanding of budget processes

• Proven skills in financial reporting and analysis

• Experience in managing payroll

• Ability to create accurate financial forecasts

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
