Aerotek Mechanical Assembler in Chandler, Arizona

Job Title: Machine Assembler, Finish Machine Assembler, General Assembler

Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team in a role that demands precision and skill. We are hiring for three distinct assembly positions. Each role requires candidates to be mechanically inclined with proficiency in using both hand and air powered tools, and an ability to accurately read a tape measure. Tasks vary across the positions from basic machine assembly to more complex tasks involving wiring, installation of engines, hydraulic components, and more. Experience in MIG welding, plasma cutting, and metal fabrication is advantageous. The General Assembler position also includes the assembly of various parts and potentially operating machinery such as Band Saws, Brake Presses, and Plasma Tables.

Hard Skills

  • Mechanical inclination

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chandler, Arizona.

Work Environment

This role is based in a large manufacturing setting, which includes both indoor and outdoor environments. While parts of the area are air-conditioned, most are not. The standard shift is from 6 am-2:30 pm, with possibilities of extending hours from 5 am up to 4/5 pm. Candidates are expected to work up to 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Steel-toed footwear, work jeans, and t-shirts are required attire.
