Compensation and Schedule for the X-Ray Tech/Radiology Tech

X-Ray Tech/Radiology Tech – Full-time, onsite, $24-$31 per hour depending on certification type, 3x12-hour shifts with rotating weekends, overtime available. Join a positive working environment!

Required Qualifications of the X-Ray Tech/Radiology Tech

• 1+ years of recent x-ray tech/radiology tech experience required

• Current Arizona or national radiology certification required

• Current CPR certification required

• Graduation from an accredited radiology school required

• High school diploma or GED required

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the X-Ray Tech/Radiology Tech

• Position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance, according to specification of examination

• Position patient on examining table and set up and adjust equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by physician

• Monitor patients’ conditions and reactions, reporting abnormal signs to physician

• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan

• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff

• Handle MA responsibilities when needed
