Description

We are seeking a dedicated HR Recruiter to join our team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role primarily involves recruiting for warehouse positions, utilizing various resources to source qualified candidates, and developing effective recruitment strategies. This position requires a blend of on-site and remote work after training!!

Responsibilities:

• Engage proactively with business unit leadership to understand business needs and staffing requirements, developing a talent plan for job openings.

• Collaborate with HR Leadership and HR Business Partners to understand workforce planning and implement an appropriate recruitment strategy.

• Work closely with hiring managers to define candidate qualifications and set realistic requirements for efficient candidate screening.

• Assist in the development and revision of job specifications and descriptions.

• Identify effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates without the use of agencies.

• Collaborate with leaders and HR Business Partners to determine if there are internal candidates for the role(s).

• Utilize various resources such as the Internet, social media, print media, and formal/information networks to source a diverse candidate pool.

• Proactively build relationships with potential candidates, creating a robust pipeline of highly qualified professionals for current and future staffing needs.

• Maintain and utilize the applicant tracking system, understanding the candidate flow process and the importance of metrics.

• Work with hiring managers to move candidates efficiently and quickly through the interview process.

• Keep candidates updated on the status of their application(s).

• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to develop appropriate compensation ranges for open roles.

• Bring the recruitment process to closure by presenting offers to identified candidates, managing salary negotiations, and presenting offer letters.

• Efficiently move selected candidates through the hiring process, including conducting background checks and drug screens.

• Provide advice to hiring managers regarding talent planning, recruiting, the interview process, and candidate selection.

• Maintain a presence within the logistics/transportation industry community and marketplace.

• Attend job fairs, industry conferences, and networking events.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in HR recruiting.

• Proven track record in corporate recruiting and campus recruiting.

• Familiarity with e-Recruitment tools and LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Practical experience in onboarding new hires.

• Knowledge of conducting drug screens and background checks.

• Ability to conduct intake interviews and assess candidate suitability.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

• Professional certification in human resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

• High ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
