Job Description: Insight Global is looking for a Surveyors to work part-time for an engineering firm to gather data from different sites in North and South Carolina. The project is the Catawba Wateree RUN study for Duke Energy in the power industry. The surveyors will need to be willing to work on 3 holiday weekends (memorial day, July 4, Labor day) in shifts.

Responsibilities:

Report to sites assigned to

Gather data from sites

The clerks will approach individuals at their assigned site and conduct a 5 to 10-minute interview using an iPad.

Must be willing to drive own vehicle (per diem for gas $59/day)

Project - Catawba wateree RUN study ( duke energy)

Federal Energy Regulatory Commission - oversee power

Needs a study done

200 mile long from wateree camden, SC and recreation site

Record data and make a report for Duke Energy

Trail counters, site inventory, visitor interviews

65 sites - 23 of those site visitor interviews

4 hour shifts, IPAD already has questions, enter in data

Each site needs 14 - 4 hour visit (Memorial day, july 4, labor day)

Morning, afternoon, and evening shift (8-12pm, 12-4pm, 3-7pm)

3 holiday weekends

6 non holiday weekends

5 weekday visits

2 spanish speaking - 6 total

Hours per week - vary

13 sites in NC, 10 in SC (furthest south - Columbia)

In office Training week before April 1 - April 1 thru Sep 30 project duration

Per diem for gas $59/day

Might would have to work 2 shifts on a holiday weekend in one day

44 shifts over the course of the project

No experience needed, must be reliable to adhere to the schedule and shifts

Plus would be previous surveyor experience null
