SDS Tree & Stump Removal, Inc. (Charlton, NY) seeks Grounds Maintenance Workers to work in all areas concerning landscape maintenance and/or new landscape installation. This includes and is not limited to: irrigation installation, plant/tree installation, grading, trimming, planting, pruning, sod laying, fertilizing, watering, digging, raking, laying down pinestraw and mulch. Responsible for landscape installation and maintenance using hand and power tools and running mowers and other equipment. Maintain existing landscaping, basic irrigation, sweep walkways of debris, cut down tree limbs, trim shrubs and pull weeds. Perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and service of equipment and vehicles used in property maintenance. Perform Winter maintenance, including snow removal and ice management during the Winter season. Winter duties would include shoveling and salting sidewalks by hand using a shovel, snow blower, or snow thrower. Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds. Work in all weather conditions. 6 Months’ experience required in Landscaping/Groundskeeping. Travel to projects locations within Saratoga, Albany, Schenectady, and Rensselaer counties of New York.
